The World of University Admissions

Hello everyone! My name is Meixu Chen and I am a Grade 12 student at high school. Today, I had the pleasure to attend Jodi Buckley’s Think Tank on “The World of University Admissions” as a part of the Associate National Lead program where I get to build and host my conference! Here are my thoughts highlighting what I learned: I learned a lot in the world of college admissions about what to look for in a college application and some of the deadlines for applying to colleges and many of the questions that my friends asked that I wanted to know. From my point of view, I like the mentoring program of the think tank the most, because, for us 12th graders, this kind of help can be of great use, the professional mentors provide us with a wealth of advice and information about college applications, I will have a more comprehensive understanding of myself, and realize the gap between myself and other partners, so I will work harder to catch up with them and surpass them. What I have learned has laid the foundation for me to get into my dream college, so I will think deeper and be more prepared for my goals.
