Hi everyone! My name is Leila and I am a Grade 11 student at Rundle College Senior High. Today, I had the pleasure to attend the National High School Business Conference. Here are my thoughts highlighting what I learned about investments. The value of a dollar gradually increases with time, so the money you have today could be worth much more in the future. This is why when you start investing and saving at a younger age, you can earn more money when you’re older. Even if you invest less now than more later, the difference could be exponential. I really enjoyed the speeches we heard today, and it inspired me to learn more now to get a headstart on my future. This will set me up well for a stable career and financial freedom.
